Smoking Joe’s
Smokin Joe’s is on Main Street in the Downtown area. Smokin Joes was originally a cigar store and lunch counter. We unveiled the current product in 2005 and have provided Downtowner’s a great place to unwind ever since. Come down to have a sandwich, beer, or glass of wine and of course a Cigar. Watch all the games or people watch on our outdoor patio.
Five O’clock Club
If live music is what you are seeking, then look no further than the Five o'Clock Club. Live bands play every night although, oddly enough, shows don't begin until 10p.m. Styles of music includes jazz, funk, r&b, and reggae, however, local tribute bands to rockers such as AC/DC and Aerosmith are also known to make an appearance

O’learys
Nestled near the fascination of Sarasota's downtown skyline, exists another world inside Island Park. Children leaping through fountains shaped like turtles and sea animals. Reminiscent of Central Park, couples stroll and have picnics laying out large romantic blankets for lunch. Views of the Marina, sounds of acoustic and steel drums bring you to the entrance of O'learys, come on deck. The scintillating view of the Sarasota Bayfront makes me feel like I am on horseback in Jamaica. Throw on your flip flops and come to a place that emits sparks.
Shamrock
Though the space has been used to serve drinks to thirsty Sarasotan’s for over 40 years, the Shamrock Pub has been serving up its own brand of magic for the last 14. Nestled in a small strip mall between Lime and 301, the Shamrock is a little known gem that serves up the best pint of Guiness in the downtown area. Specializing in beer and wine, the Shamrock also offers quite a few flat screen TV's for sports and dart boards for competition. On occasion they have live music for your enjoyment.
Evie’s Tavern
Sports lovers, you have found your home. Evie's Tavern is Sarasota's premier sports bar with 13 high definition, flat screen TVs. You won't miss a play during the game whether you're downstairs with the crowd or in our VIP room looking over the bar from above. Jazz Club Of Sarasota
The Jazz Club of Sarasota is the most active jazz club in the United Sates, with over 80 concerts and lectures each year. Founded in 1980 by the late Hal Davis, the former publicist for Benny Goodman, the club has approximately 750 members and is growing in membership. The club sponsors, with the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, the Sarasota Jazz Festival, one of the major US jazz festivals. The club also sponsors the Venice Jazz Festival in Venice Florida and the Gulf Coast High School Jazz Festival in Sarasota.
